Education Libraries

The newest issue of Education Libraries is now available at http://education.sla.org/education-libraries-archives/.

Education Libraries (ISSN 0148-1061) is an electronic, refereed journal of the Education Division of the Special Libraries Association (SLA). It provides a forum for new and challenging ideas in the education field as well as in the field of library and information science education. It also deals with the new technologies as they affect the library profession and their changing role in the library and information curriculum. Education Libraries is indexed in ERIC, EBSCOhost’s Education Collection, Education Full-Text, and Library Literature.

Academic Earth – Video Sharing

Academic Earth (www.academicearth.org) could be a student’s best source. The site offers free access to video courses and academic lectures from leading colleges and universities in one educational repository. Anyone can watch the same full-length lectures for free. New videos are added every day by college professors. Lecture videos can be browsed in four different ways: subjects, universities, instructors, or playlists (http://www.academicearth.org/about). I recommend this resource for any student struggling with algebra, physics, and so on.
